The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has embarked on constructing a new heritage park in the Chandni Chowk area. This ambitious project will cost Rs 2.03 crore, according to civic body officials.
Located next to the historic Meena Bazaar, construction began with erecting a wall featuring classic jaali designs. This development marks the second phase of the ongoing heritage park initiative.
The park promises a Mughal-style 'baradari' and an array of vibrant flowers, enhancing the site alongside Meena Bazaar. This development follows the establishment of the first heritage park in 2022, inaugurated by former president Ram Nath Kovind.
