Acclaimed actor Daniel Day-Lewis is set to return to the screen, ending his retirement to star in his son Ronan Day-Lewis' directorial debut, 'Anemone'.

Known for his roles in 'Lincoln' and 'Gangs of New York', Day-Lewis co-wrote the film, which examines familial relationships, with his son.

Focus Features and Plan B are producing the film, which also stars Sean Bean, Samantha Morton, Samuel Bottomley, and Safia Oakley-Green. Day-Lewis retired in 2017 after an illustrious career, winning three Oscars for Best Actor.
