Skincare startup ClayCo Cosmetics has successfully secured $2 million in a Series A funding round led by Unilever Ventures on Tuesday.

This marks the first external investment for ClayCo, which plans to utilize the funds to expand its product portfolio, enhance branding and promotion efforts, drive recruitment, and support working capital needs.

Founded by Niharika Jhunjhunwala, ClayCo aims to scale operations and launch new products, including a Moroccan-inspired body care range. The funding will also support marketing campaigns, expand customer engagement, and drive research and innovation.
