In a disturbing incident, a man in Uttar Pradesh's Lalitpur district has been apprehended for allegedly branding his 11-year-old daughter with hot tongs. The shocking act took place in Baroun village when goats knocked over a bag of vegetables, triggering the father's violent rage.

Parul Singh Chandel, Station House Officer (SHO) of Saujna police station, revealed that the father's aggression escalated to the point where he used hot tongs from the stove to brand his daughter's palm and other parts of her body. The girl's grandfather, Lalanju, who attempted to stop Ramswaroop's brutality, was also reportedly severely beaten.

Following a formal complaint by Lalanju, the police intervened and arrested Ramswaroop. The young girl has been sent to a hospital for necessary medical treatment. The incident has sparked outrage and calls for stricter measures to prevent such domestic violence.
