Muktesh Kumar Pardeshi Named India's New Ambassador to Turkiye

The seasoned diplomat Muktesh Kumar Pardeshi has been named as India's new ambassador to Turkiye, an influential player in resolving regional conflicts, particularly in the Middle-East.
A 1991-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, Pardeshi is currently serving as a secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and is expected to assume his new role shortly, according to a brief MEA statement.
Pardeshi was pivotal in India's successful hosting of the G20 Summit last year, handling deep divisions over the Ukraine conflict to produce a leaders' declaration.
