Saif Ali Khan Joins Jr NTR for Pan-India Film 'Devara'

Saif Ali Khan announced on Tuesday that his co-actor Jr NTR invited him to join the upcoming pan-India film 'Devara' due to his performance in the 2006 critically-acclaimed movie 'Omkara'.
'Devara,' directed by Koratala Siva, is billed as a high-octane action drama set in the forgotten coastal lands of India. Khan, whose portrayal of Langda Tyagi in 'Omkara' is considered a career landmark, feels this role is akin to a debut in a new kind of cinema.
'The South industry has given us many incredible movies, and I believe the future lies in collaborations between North and South,' Khan stated during 'Devara's' trailer launch. He also praised his co-stars and the production team for their patience and support, particularly while he navigated delivering dialogues in Telugu.
