The Ambani family, led by Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, joined the Antillia Cha Raja's immersion procession, marking a grand farewell to Lord Ganesha. The Ambanis, including Mukesh and Nita Ambani, and newlyweds Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, celebrated the occasion with full enthusiasm.
On Sunday, amidst lively dance and music, the Ambanis participated in the 'Ganpati Visarjan' ceremony. The family, accompanied by close friends from the film industry, were seen bidding adieu to Lord Bappa. Captured visuals showcased Anant and Radhika dancing to the beats of the dhol, all dressed in traditional outfits.
Nita Ambani, chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, looked radiant in a pink saree, while Radhika donned a blue kurta. The family, traveling from their palatial home Antilia to Chowpatty Beach on a decorated truck, were joined by actors like Meezaan Jafri and Shanaya Kapoor. The Ambanis had also hosted a grand Ganesh Chaturthi celebration on Saturday at their residence, attended by Bollywood and political figures including Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and more.
The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, which began on September 6, is celebrated for ten days, honoring Lord Ganesha as the God of new beginnings. Devotees welcome Ganesh idols into their homes, offer prayers, and visit festive pandals. The celebrations, marked by traditional practices and cultural events, reflect the profound devotion and happiness surrounding the festival.
