A tragic accident occurred in Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat district on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and two oxen. The incident happened when a makeshift metal shed being carried on an ox cart came into contact with a live electricity line, authorities said.

According to the Kirnapur police station in-charge Chhatrapal Singh Bains, the victims, Vitthal Khairwar and Dugesh Panche, were electrocuted after the shed touched an 11KV line. Another individual sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the district hospital.

The Khara Sarpanch Rajendra Bopche pointed out that the power line was lying unusually low, attributing this as the cause of the accident.
