Diljit Dosanjh Joins Star Cast of War Drama 'Border 2'

Diljit Dosanjh joins the cast of 'Border 2', the much-anticipated sequel to the 1997 war drama. The film, set for a January 2026 release, will also feature Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. Directed by Anurag Singh, 'Border 2' brings an epic saga to life, backed by Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta.

Actor-musician Diljit Dosanjh has been added to the star-studded cast of the war drama 'Border 2', the filmmakers announced on Friday.

Currently reveling in the success of 'Amar Singh Chamkila' and 'Crew', Dosanjh will join Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan in this highly anticipated sequel.

'The 'Border 2' family just got bigger! Welcoming the incredible Diljit Dosanjh to the epic saga,' T-Series shared on its social media handles.

Sunny Deol, who headlined the original 1997 film directed by JP Dutta, expressed his excitement, posting on Instagram, 'Welcoming Fauji @diljitdosanjh to the Battalion of #Border2.'

Directed by Anurag Singh and backed by Dutta and Bhushan Kumar, 'Border 2' is set for a January 23, 2026, release.

In addition, Dosanjh was most recently seen in 'Jatt & Juliet 3', and he is set to star in 'Sardaar Ji 3', scheduled for release in June 2025.

Sunny Deol, riding high on the success of 'Gadar 2', will also star in 'Lahore 1947' alongside Preity Zinta, a film produced by Aamir Khan.
