The makers of the highly anticipated crime thriller 'Sector 36', starring Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal, have unveiled an intriguing trailer. Inspired by true events, the film chronicles the mysterious disappearances of several children from a local slum, leading a police officer to unearth a shocking truth.

'Sector 36' delves into power dynamics, crime, and social inequality, as the storyline follows a police officer clashing with a cunning serial killer. The trailer showcases Vikrant Massey in a completely new avatar, playing the role of a serial killer who abducts and murders children.

The plot takes a personal turn as a police officer, played by Deepak Dobriyal, investigates the murders and confronts the killer. The tension escalates when the killer subtly intimidates the officer's daughter. Vikrant Massey described the role as one of his most challenging yet, praising director Aditya Nimbalkar's meticulous creation of a gritty world. Deepak Dobriyal highlighted the film's focus on class disparity and unchecked crime. Produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and Jio Studios, 'Sector 36', marking Nimbalkar's directorial debut, offers a spine-chilling look at society's dark recesses and is set to release on September 13.
