According to Variety, the renewal comes just a week after the premiere of the fourth season, which features Steven Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in lead roles. The series centers on three neighbors in a New York City apartment complex who create a true crime podcast to investigate the murder of a fellow resident.

Season four, premiering on August 27, shifts the setting from New York City to Los Angeles, where the trio faces the mysterious death of Charles' stunt double Sazz Pataki, played by Jane Lynch. As they investigate, they question whether Sazz or Charles was the intended victim, leading them back to New York and deeper into the lives of their building's West Tower residents.
