Shah Rukh Khan Tops Celebrity Taxpayer List with $11 Million Advance Payment

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan led the list of celebrity taxpayers with an advance tax payment of Rs 92 crore in 2023-24. Tamil actor 'Thalapathy' Vijay came second, followed by Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Cricketer Virat Kohli topped among sports figures with Rs 66 crore.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has emerged as the top celebrity taxpayer for the financial year 2023-24, according to a list compiled by Fortune India Magazine. Khan paid an advance tax of Rs 92 crore.

Tamil actor 'Thalapathy' Vijay secured the second position with an advance tax payment of Rs 80 crore, leaving behind Bollywood icons Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, who paid Rs 75 crore and Rs 71 crore, respectively.

Among cricketers, Virat Kohli led the pack with Rs 66 crore, followed by MS Dhoni who paid Rs 38 crore. The star-studded list also includes several other notable figures from the film industry and cricket world, including Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, and Sachin Tendulkar.
