George RR Martin, the famed author behind 'Game of Thrones,' has expressed his concerns about significant changes made in the TV adaptation of his novel 'Fire & Blood' for the show 'House of the Dragons,' as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Martin revealed his discontent in a blog post, which was quickly deleted, where he criticized co-creator and showrunner Ryan Condal's decisions. He argued that the exclusion of certain characters and the alteration of key scenes would lead to serious narrative issues across several seasons.

One key point of contention was the omission of Prince Maelor, one of Aegon and Helaena's children. HBO responded, stating that such adaptations are routine and necessary to manage the show's expansive character list and budget constraints. Martin, however, insisted that these changes weakened the story's impact and coherence.
