Ranvir Shorey, a versatile supporting actor renowned for his roles in films such as 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' and 'Sonchiriya,' believes it's time for a promotion to lead roles. He asserts having paid his dues and feels ready for the main stage.

Currently, Shorey is preparing for actor-director Rajat Kapoor's 'What's Done Is Done,' a play inspired by Shakespeare's 'Macbeth,' slated for the upcoming Delhi Theatre Festival. The 52-year-old actor, fresh from his stint on the reality show 'Big Boss OTT 3' and recent acclaim in the series 'Shekhar Home,' is optimistic about his career trajectory.

Despite his love for cinema over theatre, Shorey values stage work for honing his craft. He mentions that if not for the financial challenges, he would continuously collaborate with close friends and actors like Rajat Kapoor and Vinay Pathak.
