Brazilian teenager Angelo Gabriel's unexpected career progression continued as he secured a $25 million transfer to Saudi Arabian team Al Nassr on Tuesday. Just a year ago, Gabriel had joined Chelsea from Santos for $17 million, but he never played for the English club and was instead loaned to Strasbourg, operated by Chelsea's American investors.

The 19-year-old winger joined Chelsea's preseason tour in the United States but has since finalized a permanent move to Al Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays. The transfer, announced shortly after the Saudi transfer window closed, will help Chelsea comply with Premier League and UEFA financial regulations.

Gabriel's time with Chelsea was brief, and his departure aligns with another Brazilian teenager, Deivid Washington, who also joined Chelsea from Santos last year. As Gabriel moves forward in his career, Chelsea extended their well-wishes for his future endeavors. Gabriel had previously made history by becoming the youngest player in Brazil's national championship at 15 years and 308 days.
