Turkish police have detained a suspect accused of transferring money to operatives from Israel's Mossad intelligence agency, according to a report from the state-run news agency on Tuesday.

The suspect, Liridon Rexhepi from Kosovo, entered Turkiye on August 25 and was arrested last Friday, with formal charges laid out on Tuesday. Rexhepi admitted to performing the money transfers during interrogation, as reported by Anadolu Agency.

Turkish authorities have detained several individuals, including private investigators, since January on suspicions of gathering information on Palestinians living in Turkiye for Israeli intelligence. Israel has yet to comment on these arrests.
