South African cricket legend Jonty Rhodes on Saturday hailed Ravindra Jadeja as the 'complete all-round' fielder in today's game. Rhodes also praised former India player Suresh Raina for his on-field abilities.

The 55-year-old Rhodes, renowned as one of the greatest fielders, played for South Africa from 1992 until 2003. Post-retirement, he has been associated with several IPL teams as a fielding coach, including Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, and most recently, Lucknow Super Giants.

'I am a big fan of Suresh Raina. I enjoyed his playing days but now he has retired,' said Rhodes, who was named brand ambassador of Hero Pro Corporate League cricket tournament. Rhodes contrasted his upbringing with Raina's and highlighted Jadeja's exceptional skills: 'I think Jadeja is at the next level...He is a complete all-round fielder.'

Rhodes shared insights on fielding, stressing the importance of legwork over handwork. 'It's more about quick body positions. It's all about technique,' he remarked. Despite his age, Rhodes still dives on the field, driven by the mindset instilled by his father-coach. He noted, 'Practice like you play in the match.'
