In a surprising move, government authorities on Saturday demolished the N-Convention Centre in Madhapur, Hyderabad, citing its construction on encroached land. The centre is jointly owned by Telugu superstar Nagarjuna.

Actor Nagarjuna vehemently denied any legal violations, calling the demolition an act of misinformation. He stressed that the land is legally acquired Patta land, with not a single inch of it encroaching on the tank plan of Tummidikunta lake.

Nagarjuna expressed his anguish over the 'unlawful' demolition, which he claimed occurred despite stay orders from the courts. He emphasized his readiness to comply if a court had ruled against him and vowed to seek appropriate legal relief.
