Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced an ambitious plan to provide 2,00,000 government jobs over the next two years. This statement was made during an employment and loan fair held at BIT College, emphasizing the inclusivity of employment opportunities, particularly for youths from western Uttar Pradesh who had previously been excluded.

Starting Friday, the recruitment process for over 60,000 police positions will commence across the state, and the Chief Minister encouraged local youths to actively participate in the upcoming job openings. CM Adityanath vowed severe consequences, including imprisonment and asset confiscation, against any efforts to jeopardize the future of the youth.

During the event, appointment letters were handed out to more than 5,000 youths, and Rs 30 crore in loans were distributed to selected beneficiaries and MSME entrepreneurs. Additionally, over 1,000 students received tablets under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme. The CM also spoke about ongoing development projects in Muzaffarnagar, plans for expanding Mawana sugar mill, and the construction of the state's first sports university in Meerut. He criticized the opposition and highlighted his government's focus on fostering unity and addressing the needs of various communities.
