Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk on Thursday to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between India and Poland. This meeting is historic as it marks the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Poland in the past 45 years.
Modi arrived in Poland on Wednesday and received a ceremonial red carpet welcome at the Chancellery before engaging in talks with Tusk. Modi's schedule also includes a visit to the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
Both leaders shared their enthusiastic responses to the visit on social media. Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk highlighted the significance of this visit in boosting the India-Poland partnership.
