Yogi Adityanath to Inaugurate Major Projects in Uttar Pradesh on Janmashtami

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to inaugurate 137 projects and schemes valued at Rs 583 crore on August 25, coinciding with the Janmashtami festival, officials confirmed on Wednesday. Key projects include a ropeway in Barsana and a Yamuna cruise.

The event marks the beginning of the three-day Srikrishna Janmashtami Maha Mahotsava in Mathura, highlighted by various cultural programs. Activities will be conducted across five main stages, 19 smaller stages, and 20 notable roads in different areas.

Renowned actress and Mathura MP Hema Malini will perform a dance drama themed around Janmashtami. Additionally, the chief minister will inaugurate several other significant projects and pay his respects at the Srikrishna Janmasthan on August 26 morning.
