Celebrating Rajiv Gandhi's Legacy on His 80th Birth Anniversary

The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) commemorated the 80th birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi at Talkatora Stadium with a 'Hum Mein Hai Rajiv' event. Senior Congress leaders attended, and tributes highlighted Gandhi's contributions to modern India's development, digital revolution, and Panchayati Raj institutions.

The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) celebrated the 80th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi with a special programme titled 'Hum Mein Hai Rajiv' at Talkatora Stadium on Tuesday. The event featured various cultural and musical tributes to honor Gandhi's legacy.

AICC General Secretary Sachin Pilot, AICC Media Department Chairman Pawan Khera, Lok Sabha MP Tariq Anwar, and Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav were among the senior party leaders present. Srinivas BV, the youth wing's national president, highlighted Gandhi's role in building a strong and self-reliant India and pioneering the digital and IT revolution.

Yadav paid a floral tribute to Gandhi and recalled his efforts in advancing the Panchayati Raj system, empowering youth and women, and his dedication to the country's unity and integrity. Leaders lauded Gandhi's vision and his public service, which continue to inspire generations.
