Tragic Incident: Minor Girl Fatally Stabbed by Cousin in Odisha
In a shocking incident in Odisha's Ganjam district, 13-year-old Prajakta Panigrahy was allegedly stabbed to death by her cousin. The suspect was injured in an attempt to flee and is under treatment. Another minor boy was critically injured. Police are investigating the cause of the attack.

In a shocking incident on Monday in Odisha's Ganjam district, a 13-year-old girl named Prajakta Panigrahy was allegedly stabbed to death by her cousin brother, as confirmed by police sources.
The tragic event occurred in Jagannath Bihar within the jurisdiction of Bada Bazar police station. Efforts to escape led to the accused being injured in a road accident near Hinjili and he was subsequently admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
In addition to the tragic death of Prajakta, another minor boy sustained critical injuries in the stabbing incident and is currently receiving medical treatment. According to Baba Shankar Saraf, Inspector-in-Charge of Bada Bazar police station, the motive behind the attack remains unclear and an investigation has been launched. The minor girl succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.
