During the 78th Independence Day function at Ranchi's Morabadi Ground, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced plans to complete recruitments for 35,000 positions by October next year. The roles span across various sectors, including excise constable, assistant professor, and women's supervisor.

Soren emphasized his administration's focus on employment, citing collaborations with industrial units to attract Rs 4,000 crore in investments and create 6,000 job opportunities. He also pointed out that over two lakh young individuals have secured private sector jobs through state-run training programs.

Discussing the state's welfare initiatives, Soren highlighted the introduction of the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana (JMMSY), offering financial assistance to women aged 21-50. Efforts in education and healthcare were also mentioned, including plans to upgrade Panchayat-level schools and the launch of the Mukhyamantri Abua Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, which provides health insurance of Rs 15 lakh per family annually.
