In a candid revelation, actor-director Kangana Ranaut mentioned that she has been 'boycotted' by the Hindi film industry, making it hard for people to stand with her. She praised her cast and crew of 'Emergency' for their unwavering support, especially highlighting their roles as 'gods and angels' in her career.

Ranaut, who is also a BJP MP from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi, is set to release 'Emergency', a film where she stars as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, on September 6. The movie features a star-studded lineup, including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, and the late Satish Kaushik.

She thanked her fellow actors and writers V Vijayendra Prasad and Ritesh Shah for their collaboration. Reflecting on her career, Ranaut mentioned that she was at a point where she was 'done with acting' and found directing as the highlight of her work on 'Emergency'. Despite industry challenges, she remains committed to both her film career and her occasional political engagements.
