The CRPF on Wednesday took out a bike rally in Greater Noida, aligning with the nationwide 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign celebrating Independence Day.

Personnel from the VIP security and protection wing of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Greater Noida engaged with locals, children, and panchayat members, a senior officer stated.

CRPF Inspector General (VIP Security) K M Yadav and Deputy IG M Dhinakaran flagged off the rally, part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, distributing the national flag to residents.

The initiative also saw CRPF personnel educating children and youngsters about the national flag's history and the ongoing campaign.

With approximately 3.25 lakh personnel, the CRPF is India's largest paramilitary force, tasked with managing operations in Jammu and Kashmir, the northeastern states, Naxal-affected areas, and ensuring the security of high-risk VIPs.
