Wedding Chaos: Acid Attack Attempt Cancels Ceremony

Jaya, a former software engineer from Tirupati, confronted her ex-lover, 32-year-old Sheikh Syed, at the wedding venue in Aravapalli village. The police reported that the two were in a relationship for a decade, but Syed had moved to Kuwait three years ago and returned to India to marry another woman.

During the confrontation, Jaya's attempt to throw acid on Syed ended with the substance falling on his aunt, causing no serious injuries. In the ensuing scuffle, Syed retaliated with a ceremonial knife. Both parties were arrested by the police.
