The third edition of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign will be celebrated from August 9 to 15, to commemorate India's 78th Independence Day, according to Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Aiming to instill a spirit of patriotism, the initiative encourages every Indian to hoist the national flag. Minister Shekhawat urged citizens to click selfies with the flag and upload them on the HGT portal during his interaction with reporters.
Launched under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in 2022, the campaign has become a people's movement. Notably, a special 'Tiranga Bike Rally', featuring members of Parliament, will occur in Delhi on August 13, covering key locations such as Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, and Major Dhyan Chand Stadium.
