In Indore, former India goalkeeper Mirranjan Negi highlighted the pivotal role of veteran goalkeeper PR Sreejesh in the victory, calling it a memorable farewell match. "Sreejesh's exceptional performance was instrumental, and his ability to cheer and guide the team is unparalleled," Negi added, recalling Sreejesh's similar heroics against Germany in the Tokyo Olympics.
