Akshay Kumar Donates Rs 1.21 Crore for Haji Ali Dargah Renovation

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has donated Rs 1.21 crore towards the renovation of the Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai. Suhail Khandwani, the managing trustee, announced the donation and shared a video of Kumar's visit to the shrine. Kumar's recent films have underperformed, but he is awaiting the release of 'Khel Khel Mein'.

A video accompanied the post, showcasing Kumar's visit and his prayer rituals at the iconic landmark.

Khandwani expressed his gratitude, stating, ''It was my honor as Managing Trustee with my entire team to welcome the philanthropist. Duaa for his late parents and the entire nation were made.'' The official Haji Ali Dargah Trust handle also shared this announcement.

Kumar, known for his numerous Bollywood hits, has faced a series of box office disappointments recently. He now awaits the release of his latest film 'Khel Khel Mein', set to hit theatres on August 15, co-starring Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, and others, directed by Mudassar Aziz.
