Students Protest in Solidarity with Palestine at Delhi University

The Krantikari Yuva Sangathan (KYS), a student organization, protested in support of Palestine at Delhi University's Arts Faculty. They demanded a ceasefire in Gaza amidst the Israel-Palestine conflict. Around 10 students were detained by police for protesting without permission and later released from Burari Police Station.

The Krantikari Yuva Sangathan (KYS), a student organization, protested in solidarity with Palestine on Saturday at Delhi University's Arts Faculty.

Representing the working class and marginalized sections, the group called for a ceasefire in Gaza amidst the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict.

Police detained approximately 10 students for protesting without permission. According to an officer, the students were taken to Burari Police Station but were released later.

"The protesters had not obtained permission to hold the protest and did not disperse when asked. About 10 students were detained from the Arts Faculty and taken to Burari," an officer stated.
