In an unexpected turn of events, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has announced his plans to venture into singing. The revelation came on Wednesday during the launch of Raj Pandit's latest track, 'Kooriye,' in Mumbai.

Aamir, famous for his roles in 'Rang De Basanti' and 'Lagaan,' surprised the audience by sharing his newfound passion for singing. 'I have started learning to sing. I have been training for the last one year. Sucheta ji is my guru,' he disclosed.

Expressing his admiration for music, Aamir explained, 'It (Music) is like meditation.' At the event, he praised 'Kooriye' and its team, saying, 'Raj Pandit has done a remarkable job with 'Kooriye.' The music, the visuals, and the emotions captured in this song are truly commendable.'

Zoya Afroz, who stars in the music video, expressed her excitement about the project. 'Working on 'Kooriye' has been an incredible journey. Raj's vision and the entire team's hard work have made this song a beautiful experience,' she said.

Raj Pandit reciprocated the appreciation, thanking everyone for their support. 'This project is very close to my heart, and seeing it come to life with such a fantastic response is truly fulfilling,' he said. Pandit also acknowledged Aamir Khan's support, hoping 'Kooriye' resonates with the audience.

As for Aamir Khan's future projects, he is producing 'Lahore 1947,' directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Sunny Deol. This project marks the first collaboration between Khan and Deol, who have previously had iconic box-office clashes. The film also features Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, and Ali Fazal.

Fans are eagerly awaiting this collaboration, which also reunites Aamir with Santoshi after their cult classic, 'Andaz Apna Apna.'
