Six contemporary Indian artists are set to explore the complexities of human emotions in an upcoming exhibition titled 'Life, as it happens,' which begins on August 2 at Travancore House.

Organized by The Art Qurious (TAQ), the three-day exhibition will feature autobiographical works from artists Ratna Vira, Ashok Juttu, Kiran Sherkhane, Naina Redhu, Raj Chowdhury, and Ravi Kattakuri. The curated works aim to celebrate survival and personal journeys rather than merely highlighting trauma.

TAQ's founder-director, Sangita Rajani, emphasized that the show reflects humanity's profound experiences and challenges the notion that suffering is necessary for artistic greatness. Each artist brings a unique perspective: Kattakuri focuses on the feminine form, Redhu captures human emotions with bold colors, Sherkhane explores figurative imagery, Juttu delves into historical depth, Vira chronicles her personal journey, and Chowdhury represents his passionate pursuits infused with realism.
