Himachal Pradesh Honors Kargil War Heroes on 25th Anniversary

On the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Himachal Pradesh honored the families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Kargil War. With 52 soldiers killed from the state, leaders expressed deep gratitude and emphasized the importance of remembering these brave souls.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Himachal Pradesh paid tribute to the families of soldiers who lost their lives in the Kargil War.

State cabinet minister Col Dhani Ram Shandil highlighted that 52 soldiers from Himachal Pradesh sacrificed their lives, thereby earning the state the title 'Vir Bhoomi.' Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu also expressed deep gratitude to the fallen soldiers for their unparalleled bravery.

The event, held at Gaiety Theatre, saw families of the deceased and ex-servicemen honored for their sacrifices.
