Actress Wamiqa Gabbi challenges the pervasive paparazzi culture by rejecting the notion of dressing up for others, even at airports. Speaking to ANI, she emphasized, "I don't take airport-look pressure. I dress up for myself. Life is too short to reserve good clothes for good days only."

Gabbi's nonchalant attitude was on full display as she made her runway debut at India Couture Week 2024, held at Taj Palace, Delhi, where she walked as a showstopper for celebrated designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Wamiqa opened the show in a stunning ivory trail lehenga from their 'Botanical Bloom' line, adorned with Resham embroidery, pearls, and crystals. She concluded the event as a regal bride, donning a red lehenga from their 'Bridal Gota' collection, which was handcrafted with Gota, Zardozi, and encrusted with crystals.

Reflecting on her debut ramp walk, Wamiqa said, "I never imagined that my first ramp walk would be for Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. It was like a dream. I was scared before hitting the ramp, but once I entered the stage, everything went well."

In her upcoming projects, Wamiqa Gabbi will star alongside Varun Dhawan in the film 'Baby John', slated for release in December 2024.
