In a heartwarming revelation, Ryan Reynolds shared a story about finding his 'Deadpool & Wolverine' co-star Hugh Jackman performing 'The Greatest Showman' for his children. The tale, originally reported by People, depicts Reynolds walking in on Jackman, 55, delighting his kids with performances from the hit musical.

Reynolds recounted, "I've come in, I've heard 'The Greatest Showman' playing, and I come around the corner, and there is my kids watching the movie, singing along. And Hugh is acting it out with them, like, just this big kid." The actor stressed the authenticity of his story, noting how he stumbled upon Jackman mimicking scenes from the movie in his living room.

The two actors, known for their playful rivalry, have been actively promoting their upcoming film 'Deadpool & Wolverine'. This movie marks their reunion as Deadpool and Wolverine since 2009's 'Wolverine: Origins' and introduces the X-Men to the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox.

Reynolds, who has daughters Betty, James, Inez, and a fourth baby with wife Blake Lively, described the impromptu performance as one of "the most heartbreaking, beautiful things" he had witnessed. He admitted that Jackman had surpassed him both in musicals and as a father, jokingly adding that he would never top it and had begun a new life in a new country with a secret family.

Jackman humorously confirmed the incident, adding, "By the way, we didn't rent it, we bought it on your account. Residuals." Reynolds playfully responded, "Thank you, I've been avoiding that for years," further jesting, "I live to line your pockets." Reynolds emphasized the importance of children understanding both victories and failures, a lesson imparted to him by Shawn Levy.

"You don't get what you want all the time. Something you worked on really hard didn't work," Reynolds explained. "It's so important for your kids to see that and not just think, 'Oh, Dad nailed it.' Because you lose much more than you win." 'Deadpool & Wolverine' is slated to hit theatres on July 26, according to People.
