Actors Jeff Fahey, William Forsythe, and Nicky Whelan have joined the cast of the upcoming crime dramedy series, 'A Motel,' set to star Mark Pellegrino. The ensemble cast also includes Thomas Ian Nicholas, Niko Foster, Nolan River, Charlene Amoia, Luke Edwards, Kelly Reiter, and Kelly Arjen, according to Deadline.

Pellegrino, known for his roles in 'Supernatural' and '13 Reasons Why,' will lead the series, which follows a group of outcasts working at a rundown motel. They find themselves in peril after accidentally stumbling upon a Mafia drug smuggling operation. Production for the series is scheduled to start in August. Brian A. Metcalf, known for 'UnderDeveloped,' serves as showrunner and executive producer, while Asif Akbar will also executive produce and direct several episodes. Kelly Arjen is an executive producer alongside Pellegrino and Niko Foster, who serve as co-executive producers.

The production and financing come from Black Jellybeans and Akbar Media. Jeff Fahey, acclaimed for his work in 'Lost,' William Forsythe, recognized for 'Raising Arizona,' and 'Halloween 2' actress Nicky Whelan add star power to the series. Specific details about the plot remain undisclosed. (ANI)
