The wedding rituals have commenced at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, with groom Anant Ambani adorned in traditional attire. Wearing a sherwani and a red saafa tied by family members, he captured the essence of a grand Indian wedding while sporting sneakers. Family members, including Akash, Shloka Mehta, Isha, and Nita Ambani, were seen partaking in the festivities. Musical accompaniments added to the celebratory atmosphere during the saafa tying ceremony.

The lavish wedding of Anant Ambani, youngest son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, with Radhika Merchant promises a spectacular display of Indian culture. Themed 'An Ode to Varanasi,' the decor pays tribute to the city's rich traditions, arts, crafts, and cuisine. Attendees will savor Banarasi street food including chaat, mithai, lassi, chai, khari, paan, and mukhwas, thanks to meticulously curated stalls and guest services.

From savory chaat to refreshing chai, the wedding menu offers the delights of one of the world's oldest living cities. Special food counters, featuring treats like kharik from Ahmedabad and malai toast, promise to bring Banaras' culinary heritage to Mumbai. Post today's ceremony, the event continues with 'Shubh Aashirwad' on July 13, and concludes with 'Mangal Utsav' or the wedding reception on July 14, ensuring three days of celebration for the Ambani and Merchant families.
