Hyundai Motor Company is set to establish a Mega Test Center in Telangana following a key meeting between Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu with Hyundai officials in Seoul. The initiative aims to attract significant investments to boost the state's economy.
During the meeting, CM Reddy emphasized Telangana's industry-friendly policies and advanced infrastructure, which have encouraged world-class companies like Hyundai Motor India Engineering Pvt Ltd. (HMIE) to invest in the region. The new Mega Test Center will feature an automated test track and a state-of-the-art car manufacturing facility, including electric vehicles.
The project is expected to draw additional affiliates and suppliers, thereby creating both direct and indirect employment opportunities. HMIE is also planning to modernize its existing engineering center in Hyderabad, enhancing job prospects for the India and Asia-Pacific region. HMIE expressed gratitude to CM Reddy, reiterating its commitment to India's market and sustainable development in Telangana.
