Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma inaugurated the 'Hello Meghalaya' OTT platform, aiming to uplift local filmmakers and musicians.

In his Thursday address, Sangma highlighted that 'Hello Meghalaya' stands as one of the nation's pioneering state-sponsored OTT initiatives, aimed at providing a venue for regional artists to showcase their talents.

The initiative not only offers creators a platform but also financial incentives based on viewership. Sangma emphasized that the platform would foster an ecosystem for artists to thrive and sustain their livelihoods.

The government's plan also includes establishing local theatres and a partnership with Hard Rock Cafe to promote Meghalaya's grassroots music across several Indian cities.
