The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is conducting a retest for a group of candidates amid allegations of a question paper leak. Scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 22 centers in Patna, the exam targets 12,000 candidates, aiming to restore credibility.
The controversy follows the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) on December 13, around which accusations of paper leaks have swirled. Although the BPSC has denied these claims, it arranged a fresh examination for candidates initially tested at the Bapu Pariksha Parisar centre.
District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh assured the press that robust arrangements are in place to ensure a seamless process. Out of 12,000 candidates, approximately 8,200 downloaded admit cards. Strict prohibitions are in place against unauthorized entry and gatherings near the test centers.
