The facility utilizes advanced technology to efficiently manage library functions and includes resources for students, competitive exams, and educational courses.

In a landmark move, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated Himachal Pradesh's first digital library in Bilaspur on Tuesday. The initiative marks a significant step towards digitalization, offering free access to reading materials through touch screen devices.
The library boasts a sophisticated smart management system to streamline library functions and improve user convenience. A scanner-based identity card system ensures secure access while granting entry to a collection of around 2,500 books, along with offline access to NCERT and CBSE textbooks spanning classes 1 to 12.
Resources cater not only to school students but also to college courses and competitive exam preparations. With a seating capacity for 40, the facility features a spacious reading hall, an e-library, and computer tablets, all under CCTV surveillance, enhancing the educational infrastructure in the district.
