The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has taken a significant step towards curbing the malpractice of seat blocking in professional course admissions.

In a recent proposal submitted to the Karnataka e-Governance department, the KEA suggested Aadhaar-linked registration for students aspiring for professional course seats.

The initiative is designed to authenticate student identities, thereby preventing misuse, and ensuring the smooth dissemination of examination-related information.
