In a significant initiative, Punjab is organizing an extensive parent-teacher meeting (PTA), where over 20 lakh parents of students from around 20,000 government schools are expected to gather. This was announced by state Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Monday.

The meeting aims to create a platform for teachers and parents to engage in meaningful dialogue, sharing feedback on students' academic progress, behavioral patterns, and overall development both inside and outside the classroom, Bains explained.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is slated to attend the event, which will showcase the transformative changes in the state's education system like campus managers, enhanced security, modernized classrooms, and the esteemed 'Schools of Eminence' initiative.
