The Himachal Pradesh government is setting its sights on adopting several of Karnataka's successful skill development programs. The initiative was discussed during a meeting at Vikasa Soudha on Wednesday.

Rajesh Kumar Dharmani, Himachal's minister for town planning, housing, and technical education, praised Karnataka's efforts during his visit. He expressed a strong interest in bringing similar initiatives to Himachal Pradesh after discussions with Karnataka counterpart Sharan Prakash Patil.

Particularly noteworthy was the International Migration Centre-Karnataka, which has facilitated employment for numerous skilled workers abroad. Karnataka is poised to share its expertise and programs with Himachal to drive regional skill advancement.
