Delhi University Appoints New Team for 2024-25 Student Union Elections
Delhi University has announced the appointment of Professor Satyapal Singh as the chief election officer for the upcoming students' union elections for 2024-25. Other key appointments include Professor Raj Kishore Sharma as chief returning officer and librarian Rajesh Singh as returning officer. These elections follow a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Delhi University has appointed Professor Satyapal Singh from the Department of Sanskrit as the chief election officer for the students' union polls for the year 2024-25, according to an official notification.
Other key appointments for the electoral process include Professor Raj Kishore Sharma from the Department of Chemistry as the chief returning officer and Rajesh Singh, a librarian, as the returning officer.
The vice-chancellor has also designated college principals and heads of affiliated institutions as election officers for their respective institutions.
