Delhi University Releases First Allocation List for UG Admissions 2024-25

Delhi University has unveiled the first allocation list for undergraduate admissions 2024-25, offering seats to 97,387 candidates in the inaugural round of the Common Seat Allotment System. The admissions are for 71,600 sanctioned seats, with classes commencing on August 29. The allocation list features 52,838 girls and 44,549 boys.

Delhi University has published the first allocation list for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25, extending offers to 97,387 candidates in the initial round of the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS).

The university has planned admissions to 71,600 sanctioned seats, having reviewed 5,68,20,017 unique cutoffs and ranks. A total of 1,72,18,187 preferences were submitted by students vying for seats in various UG programs.

The first allocation round has granted seats to 52,838 girls and 44,549 boys. Additionally, 243 orphan students and 1,339 single girl children have secured admissions. Notably, the B.Com (Hons) program witnessed the highest allocation, with 10,096 candidates. Classes for first-year UG students are scheduled to commence on August 29, and candidates must accept their allocation by August 18 and complete fee submission by August 21 to be eligible for any upgrades in subsequent rounds.

DU has adopted new tie-breaker rules and will apply these when required. This year, an additional feature on the dashboard allows candidates to view details of cutoffs and ranks for allocated seats. The university will admit students to 69 colleges with 1,559 program-college combinations.
