Delhi's Educational Transformation Under AAP Government

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government helmed by Arvind Kejriwal is unique in India for allocating 25% of its budget to education, Education Minister Atishi stated on Thursday. Since assuming office, the administration has considerably improved Delhi's academic landscape.
During a press conference, Atishi outlined the severe deficiencies that plagued government schools prior to AAP's intervention, such as shortages of classrooms, boards, power supply, and washrooms.
Atishi reported that since 2015, the Delhi government has constructed 22,711 new classrooms. She emphasized the addition of modern facilities like smart boards, libraries, and sports amenities, aiming to foster an enriching learning environment. Furthermore, 14 new schools are being developed to provide top-notch infrastructure for education. Atishi affirmed that these measures are part of delivering on Kejriwal's vision for high-quality education for all students.
