Jamia Millia Islamia Appoints New Chief Proctor and Security In-Charge
Jamia Millia Islamia has appointed Mohammad Shahid Khan as the new chief proctor and in-charge of security, replacing Atiqur Rahman. The decision was made effective immediately by the university's officiating Vice-Chancellor Mohammad Shakeel. Khan is a professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences.

Jamia Millia Islamia has appointed Mohammad Shahid Khan as the new chief proctor and in-charge of security, effective immediately, according to an official order released on Monday.
The appointment follows the decision of Officiating Vice-Chancellor Mohammad Shakeel to relieve Atiqur Rahman from his responsibilities. Rahman previously served as the chief proctor and in-charge of security for the university.
Khan, a professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, has taken up his new role in accordance with University Ordinance 22(XXII)(1)(Academic).
