A new train service connecting Ramnagar and Dehradun has been approved, announced BJP MP Anil Baluni on Sunday. This development marks a significant improvement in railway connectivity within the state of Uttarakhand.
This initiative, which Baluni championed earlier this year, received the green light from Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, as shared by the MP via a letter and social media post. The service is expected to ease travel for residents, saving both time and money.
Baluni credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and highlighted several rail projects, such as links and express services, as part of the state's ongoing transport infrastructure development.
